Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items with precision and speed.
Cook dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods.
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours.

Skills:

Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly valued.
Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including proficiency with knife techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Previous restaurant or food industry experience demonstrating reliability and efficiency.
Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail during meal preparation and service.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with menu planning, catering, serving, and general kitchen operations.
